At TGC, we utilize a combination of structured curriculum packages. Beginning in preschool, we emphasize a strong foundation in phonics. In the elementary years, we increasingly emphasize cognitive learning over basic rote memory. During the high school term students are continually encouraged to become self-responsible for their own academic development and progress. Our ultimate academic goal is to produce life-long learners who have developed a personal responsibility for their continued advancement and improvement as an individual.
From the elementary to high school years our students become quite proficient in the use of computers and technology. From the 4th to 12th grades, our students use a computer-based curriculum that may be accessed from home as well. Parents are encouraged to monitor their child’s progress daily and keep in close communication with their teachers. All of our staff are parents of our students and make a great sacrifice to be involved in their children’s education.
